Baby Room
It's been quite a while since I posted. In fact, it's been about 9 months. In my defense, however, we've been quite busy. Jen is currently 35 weeks pregnant and we've been busy getting things ready.
We finally got the babies room put together this week. I got the walls painted and put up a chair rail. We also put up the blinds and curtains. All we needed to finish it was the furniture. Well, it came this week, so now we're ready. The video below shows the results. Enjoy!

FreeRice
I came across a really neat website lately. It's called freerice.com and it does two good things at once. First, it tests your vocabulary knowledge. Second, it donates food to hungry people around the world.
The idea is simple and fun. Just go to the site and start playing the vocabulary quiz. For every correct answer you get, they will donate ten grains of rice. It doesn't sound like a lot, but it adds up quick. I answered enough questions today to donate 1500 grains of rice. And I had fun doing it.
So, click on the picture below and go take the quiz. You'll be glad you did.

Colts Game
Kevin and I got a chance to go to the Colts vs. Patriots game. They lost, but we had a great time at the game. We got to stay in the team hotel the night before, go on the field for pregame, meet coach Dungy and get a picture, and sit in the seventh row for the game. It was awesome!

Yokohama
After Kyoto we headed back to Tokyo for the weekend. From there we just took little trips out to areas around Tokyo. The first place we went was Yokohama, a city really close to Tokyo. So close, in fact, that it is really just one continuous city.
We did a few things things there, and I'll talk about all of them, but first up was a boat ride around the bay. The first picture shows a view of the downtown area. Note the ferris wheel. It's huge!
This picture shows us on the ferris wheel. See how much I like heights!
This picture shows Jen being happy and me pretending to be happy on the ferris wheel.
Below is a view of the area surrounding the wheel. They had a whole park set up around it with rides and shops and stuff. It was really interesting.

We're still here
Once again, it's been quite a while since my last post. I've been insanely busy at work lately and haven't really had much to post about, or much time to post it. But things should cool off a bit at then end of the week so hopefully I'll be back in action then.

Parting Kyoto
We decided to do one final things before leaving Kyoto for Tokyo. After our tour of the Kyoto Imperial Palace we decided to pay a visit to the Golden Pavilion.
This place is just like it sounds. It's a traditional Japanese building, but it's covered in gold. It's quite impressive. The park around it is also pretty neat.
